AC4 Faculty Grant Program

Each year, AC⁴ provides up to $5000 in seed money to five Columbia University Faculty and $25,000 to one (1) Faculty interested in spear-heading new interdisciplinary research projects related to violence prevention, conflict resolution, and sustainable development and peace. Special consideration will be given to projects that address conflict and peace in relation to environmental issues, scarce resources, and climate change.  Proposals should outline the project, identify its projected impact on the field, and illustrate why it is relevant and important to the issues concerning AC⁴. We do accept team applications as well, although the team receives the same amount of grant money as would a singular applicant.

Proposals that are mailed should arrive by the 5pm deadline on December 15th.
Awards will be announced in the last week of January 2012.
