IACM Student Scholarship Program

AC4 firmly supports the mission of The International Association for Conflict Management (IACM)  to encourage scholars and practitioners to develop and disseminate theory, research, and experience that is useful for understanding and improving conflict management in family, organizational, societal, and international settings.

Therefore, AC4 annually gives up to 5 scholarships of $2,000 each to students from ‘historically underrepresented groups.’  These may be used to cover flights, accommodations, meals and other conference related expenses. ‘Historically underrepresented’ is broadly defined. It may include, but is not limited to, ethnicity, race, color, or disability. This scholarship is open to students who are US citizens or permanent residents. Additionally, AC4 gives up to five scholarships of $2,000 each to students from developing countries. Students from developing countries studying within the US are also eligible to apply.

Please note: to apply for any of these scholarships, you first have to submit an abstract to IACM. Please click here to navigate to IACM’s abstract submission page.
