  1. DONATE your time and talents, or make a financial contribution*. Help to provide for our AC4-Supported Initiatives. Ask us about current programs and where you can contribute directly to faculty and graduate student research.

  2. JOIN our mailing list. Stay up to date on our current updates!

  3. EXPAND our network – share our mission with family, friends, and colleagues:

    AC4’s mission is to support, share and connect theory, research and practice at Columbia University and beyond related to conflict resolution, violence prevention, sustainable development, and peace.

  4. CONNECT with us: attend our events and join us on social media! We are on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Whether you are an undergraduate, graduate student, or faculty member, there are many opportunities for involvement with AC4.

  5. EDUCATE yourself. Raise awareness about the research and practice being conducted in the fields of conflict resolution, violence prevention, peace and sustainable development at Columbia University. Stay connected with the issues using these digital, educational, organizational, and web-based resources and help to foster discussions about these issues. Connect us to interesting articles you come across or contacts you may have.

  6. GIVE us suggestions and ideas of your favorite sites and resources on conflict resolution, violence prevention, peace, and sustainable development so we can link to those sites.

  7. INTRODUCE us to organizations in your region that you think might be a good match for a collaborative partnership in delivering our work.

  8. SHARE AC4 Link with your friends, and colleagues. AC4 Link is a web-based tool that features information about faculty, centers, and departments across the Columbia University community who are working directly or indirectly in the areas of conflict resolution, violence prevention, peace, and sustainable development.

  9. PROVIDE us two or three names of individuals in your network who would support our mission and the great work we are doing.

  10. CHALLENGE yourself. CHALLENGE your world. Be a leader in your community and take a conflict resolution or mediation training course. For New York-based trainings and workshops, look here. Engage with New York-based, national, and global organizations that conduct work in the fields of conflict resolution, violence prevention, peace, and sustainable development.
